Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How can I get started shipping plants direct from Florida?

A: Almost any serious Interiorscaper, Garden Center, or Florist can ship Fresh Tropical Plants direct from Florida.  Specialized Trucking companies provide weekly service to almost all North America.  In most areas the minimum order is approximately $ 650.00 Wholesale Value (FOB Florida) plus a freight charge of approximately $ 150 to $ 200.

Q: When will my order be delivered?

A: Specialized temperature controlled trucks deliver plants from Florida to almost every state on a weekly basis.  Most deliveries are made during normal business hours Monday through Saturday.  However, it is sometimes necessary to deliver Sundays, nights or early in the morning to ensure prompt delivery of sensitive tropical plants to every customer on the truck.  We ship Freight Collect – so you will have to pay the freight on delivery.

Q: What if there is a problem with my order?

A: It is very important to count the number of pieces delivered and check for any obviously damaged plants or boxes.  These discrepancies should be noted on the freight bill and followed up with a claim with the freight company.  Any other problem- such as insects, spider mites (Yes, we do have a lot of critters to control in Florida), should be brought to our attention so we can resolve.

Q: How do I get started?

A: Pick up the phone and give us a call at 866-855-KING or 305-245-1811.  After qualifying you as a legitimate wholesale customer (Yes, there are those who would attempt to purchase wholesale for personal use), we will Fax or mail (if you’re in no hurry) a complete availability and price list.

Q:  What if I don’t know all the plants?

A:  Our sales staff has years of experience to help you decide what plants will be appropriate for your business.  We often think of every customer as our own shop serving the ultimate users of our plants.  We’ll work with you to discover your likes and dislikes.
We also offer a plant labeling service as well.
